MPs probing data scandal seize papers
FACEBOOK documents have been seized by MPs probing the Cambridge Analytica data scandal.
They used rare Parliamentary powers to force the boss of US software company Six4Three to hand the information over.
It comes after Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg blanked MPs’ questions.
The documents are said to shed light on the social media giant’s privacy controls before the data breach was made public.
The Commons Digital, Culture, Media and Sport committee is investigation Cambridge Analytica’s use of information from 87 million Facebook users to target political adverts.
Committee chair Damian Collins said the tech giant had “very serious questions” to answer.
