Bjorn: PM is brave but no Dance Queen
ABBA star Bjorn Ulvaeus has delivered his verdict on Theresa May’s dance moves – saying she does not have a lot of rhythm.
The PM shimmied to the group’s Dancing Queen at this year’s Conservative Party conference.
Bjorn told BBC 1’s The Andrew Marr Show: “I saw it. It made the news, even in Sweden. She was very brave in doing that.
“It’s a lady with not a lot of rhythm in her – I was kind of touched actually.”
Bjorn said the band’s plans for a comeback that will include a digital avatar tour had been delayed.
He said they had written a new song but its release would “probably” be pushed back until summer.
Bjorn described the avatars as “digital twins of ourselves, version 1979.”
