‘No deal... no clean drinking water’

‘CONVINCED’ MICHAEL GOVE CONTINGENCY plans for a no-deal Brexit warn that we could run out of clean drinking water within days.

The document is said to have convinced Cabinet Brexiteer Michael Gove to back the May deal.

The details from Whitehall’s Operation Yellowhammer, seen by the Mail on Sunday, allegedly said: “Millions of people would not be able to go to work because office buildings, schools and other workplaces would need to close.”

Councils have been warned to plan for three months of disruption including food and petrol shortages.
