Noel & Nick no big stars

NOEL Edmonds makes a meal of his Bushtucker Trial – as he and Nick Knowles flop at trying to Catch A Falling Star.

Asked by Dec why he thought they had been picked, Noel joked: “The nation hates us. It’s been quite an upsetting time for us.”

The pair were in two Perspex coffins suspended 20 metres above a lake.

Noel was in the top one and had to find stars in among creepy crawlies and drop them for Nick to catch.

They had 11 minutes to retrieve 11 stars and win 11 meals – but managed just five.

But Nick’s star was on the rise as new camp leader, replacing Emperor Noel. He appointed Anne Hegerty as his deputy.

Emily Atack, 29, also had a heart-toheart with Noel – admitting she is yet to meet Mr Right following a break-up.

The Inbetweeners actress said: “I’ve not met that person yet. I’m soul searching.”
