GRACIA: I WON’T PUT BOOT INTO REFS

-

WATFORD boss Javi Gracia claims he will not criticise referees this season.

The Hornets chief made the promise as he forgave Jon Moss for not awarding the penalty that could have turned the game in his favour.

Andy Robertson clearly fouled Will Hughes in the Liverpool box with the scores goalless (below). Moss waved the claim away.

But Gracia said: “In the last two games (against the Reds and Southampton) we have been unlucky with some decisions.

“I prefer to always support the referee and, if I don’t say anything about their work in these two games, I will not do so for the rest of the season. If we keep the same attitude, I don’t doubt we’ll win again quickly.”
