HS2 in on line shop promise
RAIL passengers on HS2 may be able to click and collect Amazon packages on board, a train manufacturer has claimed.
Bombardier Transportation is bidding for a £2.75billion contract to build the trains in a joint venture with Hitachi Rail.
Martin Rennoldson, of Bombardier, said the 225mph trains would be “very convenient and very passenger-centric”.
He said journeys could be a “productive period” for passengers’ “private life, shopping and comfort”.
