Joan: Finally I’ve let grief for Jackie go

- BY FRANCES MILLAR

HEARTACHE Joan Collins DAME Joan Collins has told how she has finally overcome her grief after losing her beloved sister Jackie three years ago.

Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour she said she had “moved on” after the best-selling author died aged 77 in September 2015.

She said: “I love my sister. I still have pictures.

“Whenever I’m with her daughters we reminisce about Jackie and all the wonderful times and what a great person she was.”

Dame Joan, 85, who goes on tour with her onewoman show Unscripted next year, added: “But, to use my least favourite expression, I’ve moved on.”

Jackie, who had book sales of 500 million, died of breast cancer two weeks before her 78th birthday leaving three daughters. SEARCH Dogs at the villa yesterday
