Sniffer dogs in Khashoggi body hunt

- Mikey.smith@mirror.co.uk @mikeysmith

SNIFFER dogs search the garden of a villa linked to the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The trail led to the Istanbul home after it was revealed one of the Saudi agents allegedly involved in the murder at the kingdom’s Turkish consulate Mum Nazanin and Gabriella called the villa’s owner a day before, the Istanbul chief prosecutor’s office said. The owner is a Saudi national, Mohammed Ahmed Alfaozan, codenamed “Ghozan”.

The call was believed to be about the destruction or disappearance of body parts, officials added. The killing has strained Saudi Arabia’s ties with the West and tarnished the image of its leader, Mohammed bin Salman.

The Crown Prince arrived in Egypt yesterday on the third leg of his first trip since the murder last month.
