Accused left a tragic note
A POLITICIAN found dead at home after being accused of “groping” left a note for his family saying: “Please forgive me.”
Carl Sargeant, 49, died four days after losing his job as a Welsh Assembly minister, an inquest heard.
The dad of two, who represented Alyn and Deeside, North Wales, was suspended from the Labour Party a year ago.
His wife Bernadette, 49, found him hanged.
The inquest continues.
