Writer William Ivory tells the story of Jayne and Chris’s early years as they fought to become Olympic legends.

The two-hour film stars Game of Thrones actor Will Tudor as Dean and In the Club’s Poppy Lee Friar as Torvill. Anita Dobson plays Jayne’s first coach in Nottingham, Miss Perry, and Stephen Tompkinson is her father George.

Last Tango in Halifax’s Dean Andrew is Chris’s dad while Jaime Winstone is Janet Sawbridge, the ice dance instructor who paired Torvill and Dean on the ice the first time.
