VVD: WE FEAR NO ONE

VIRGIL VAN DIJK has warned Paris Saint-Germain to expect a fearless Liverpool in their Champions League showdown tomorrow.

The moneybags French side boast world-class stars such as Neymar and Kylian Mbappe (right) but Dutch centre-half Van Dijk says the Reds are scared of no one. “We respect them but we don’t have any fear,” he said. “We must not forget that we are one of the best teams in Europe too.”

And VVD dismisses the idea that Premier League leaders Manchester City have the title at their mercy.

City are long odds-on favourites after opening up a two-point lead but Van Dijk said: “They are a fantastic team but so are we. Remember, we are still unbeaten.”
