Wenger’s in Bay window

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

BAYERN MUNICH could turn to former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to rescue their season.

Boss Niko Kovac is clinging to his job with Bayern chiefs weighing up pulling the trigger.

The Germans, champions in the last six seasons, are well off the Bundesliga pace in Kovac’s first season.

They trail leaders and big rivals Borussia Dortmund by nine points after just 12 games and sit fifth.

Bayern are now looking at their options with Wenger, 69, one of the few managers with the required calibre and a serious contender to replace Kovac.
