Barking up wrong tree

MOST dog owners cannot tell what their pet is barking about.

Some 71% do not know if they’re scared, while 35% mistake a fearful sound for excitement, says Direct Line Pet Insurance.

The insurer said owners had to learn the “animal’s body language”.
