FOCUS ON THE UP

The latest member of Ford’s Active range has arrived.

We already have the Fiesta and Ka Active models, so now the Focus gets the faux off-roader treatment. That means a raised ride height of 30mm at the front of the car and 34mm at the back, together with new springs and dampers.

The electronics have also been tweaked with new Slippery and Trail settings added to the driving modes which increase confidence on low-grip surfaces. All this plus a new grille, front and rear bumpers, skid plates front and back and plastic cladding for the sills and wheelarches.

Available in both hatchback and estate body styles, the Focus Active costs from £21,900. Order now for delivery in January.
