Suzuki has given its Vitara crossover a makeover for 2019 with revised styling that includes a new grille and front bumper, new engines including 1.0 and 1.4-litre turbocharged petrols, plus climate control and Bluetooth as standard on all models.

All Vitaras also now get seven air bags. Inside there’s new seat fabric, and soft touch material is used on the dashboard’s upper surfaces. The 2019 Suzuki Vitara is on sale from £16,999. It’s not as impressive as the Japanese firm’s Ignis and Jimny models, but the Vitara remains a very competent and good value car.
