MESSI TIDIES UP IN THE EIND

-

PSV Eindhoven 1 Barcelona 2

BARCELONA were made to wait before tying up Group B against PSV Eindhoven in Holland.

The hosts held the Spanish side in the first half but buckled after the break when Ousmane Dembele teed up Lionel Messi after an hour, the Argentine (right) curling the ball home past Jeroen Zoet for the opener.

Ten minutes later it was all over when Messi threatened once more, only for his shot to find its way to goal thanks to a deflection off team-mate and defender Gerard Pique.

PSV threw caution to the wind and after Steven Bergwijn fired just wide, MarcAndre ter Stegen was forced into a fine save from Hirving Lozano.
