HOME WIN WILL PUSH AJ ASIDE
DEONTAY WILDER is ready to snub Anthony Joshua – even if he beats Tyson Fury.
Wilder will defend his heavyweight world title against Fury having been unable to agree terms with Joshua (below) earlier this year.
And should he prevail, the American is prepared to offer Fury a second bite at the cherry instead of facing his fellow champion at Wembley next spring.
Wilder said: “The AJ fight is up to them, they have to stop being cowards, we are moving on from him.
“If it’s a great fight against Fury and fans want to see the rematch then why not? Why not give a great fighter another opportunity?
“I will probably end up giving him a second opportunity before any of these so-called best give him even one opportunity because they are worried about their clean records.” Fury would be contractually obliged to offer Wilder a rematch if he wins.
