MORE SPURS STADIUM WOES AS LEVY’S CAR IS BROKEN INTO
TOTTENHAM chairman Daniel Levy has become the highestprofile casualty of the club’s new stadium delay – after having his car broken into.
The vehicle was parked on the Sainsbury’s site next to White Hart Lane as the new stadium car park is not yet ready. Levy and several club
officials are understood to have been among the owners of up to seven cars broken into. CCTV captured the attackers using a device to pop open the boots.
It is the latest setback for Spurs, forced to play at Wembley for the rest of 2018 as their new £1billion arena is not yet ready.
The temporary home has not helped boss Mauricio Pochettino, as club skipper Hugo Lloris said: “We need to deal with Wembley another season and we do not know until when. It demands a lot of energy.
“But we are ready to deal with that – because we have no choice.”
