PO workers in ‘sell-off’ fury

MASS protests are being held across the country today over Post Office plans to franchise another 74 branches to WH Smith.

Communication Workers Union leader Dave Ward said: “People are sick and tired of the broken privatisation agenda.

“We hope many will join our campaign to save our Post Offices.”

The Post Office said: “The plan lets us maintain branches in town and city centres in a way that’s financially sustainable.”
