Fake records duo are jailed
TWO conmen have been jailed for selling counterfeit vinyl records.
They were part of a team that manufactured thousands of unlicensed discs.
It cost the industry around £500,000, Newport crown court heard.
Stephen Russell, 65, of Kidderminster, Worcs, was jailed for eight months, and Robert Pye, 63, from Ipswich, got 10 months.
Two other defendants got suspended jail terms.
The quartet admitted trademark infringements.
