OAP killed by a falling tree

A WOMAN of 75 died when a falling tree struck the car she was riding in.

The Ford Fiesta’s driver, another woman, 74, suffered life-changing leg injuries, police said.

Winds of up to 30mph were recorded at the time of Thursday morning’s crash near Salisbury, Wilts.
