Pet dog wolfs down money

A DOG has eaten £220 in bank notes intended for an animal charity.

Neil Featherby, 60, was shocked when he found Tia, his Saarloos wolfdog, surrounded by chewed up £10s and £20s.

In September, he ran the length of Hadrian’s Wall to raise funds to donate to Norwich-based Hallswood Animal Sanctuary.

But Neil, of Felthorpe, Norfolk, is “more worried about Tia than the money”.

She has yet to pass the notes and Neil is keeping a close eye on her after she was put on a special diet.
