Thornley to spark Leigh

FORCE India completed Formula One’s 2019 driver line-up by confirming Canadian Lance Stroll, 20, will race for them.

A consortium led by Stroll’s billionaire father Lawrence took control of the team in August. FORMER Wigan three-quarters Iain Thornley and Stefan Marsh have joined Championship club Leigh Centurions.

Thornley, 27, who will combine his parttime role with training for a new career as an electrician, said: “It’s perfect for me.”
