Town tribute to a burglar

-

MOURNERS have created a shrine with candles and flowers to honour “Britain’s most prolific burglar”.

Bradley Wernham was spared jail in 2009 for a £1million crime spree of nearly 700 burglaries but he was later locked up.

One of his victims said he did not “understand the tribute” in Harlow, Essex, town centre but his family called him “a lovely boy”.

The body of Wernham, 27, was found in a field near Gilston, Herts, last week after a drinking session.
