Swans shot by airgun

A FAMILY of swans has been shot dead and thrown down the bank of a stream in a “senseless” airgun attack.

The five cygnets and their parents were found in plastic bags in the Kent village of Benenden last Sunday.

The RSPCA’s Dave Grant said: “It’s heartbreaking. I’m keen to find out who’s responsible for this senseless attack.”
