‘TYSON IS TRUE CHAMP’

-

TYSON FURY insisted he is a world champion in all but name after accusing the judges of robbing him of Deontay Wilder’s WBC belt.

Fury, who was ahead on two of three scorecards heading into the final round, said: “I don’t know what fight those judges were watching – I’ve never seen a worse decision in my life.

“Stuff like this gives boxing a bad name. The world knows who the champion is. Wilder must be thanking his lucky stars because that belt belongs to me.”

Former undisputed world champion Lennox Lewis (above) who suffered his own injustice almost 20 years ago when he drew with Evander Holyfield, agreed.

He said: “I just saw Tyson Fury come back from drugs, depression, two years of inactivity and massive weight loss to outbox the champion, who was gifted a draw.”
