TOP FIFTY HIT FOR O’S
LEYTON ORIENT hit 50 points as they and Salford started to pull away at the top of the National League.
Josh Koroma and Macauley Bonne gave them an easy 2-0 win over Gateshead, while Salford are just a point behind after they won 3-0 at home to Havant and Waterlooville.
Orient assistant boss Ross Embleton said: “When you group together three games like we’ve had in the last week, it’s tough.
“So it’s important to sign off with a good feeling. To take seven points, we’re happy with that.”
For Salford, Adam Rooney (above) and Dennis Politic scored in the first half and Danny Whitehead hit a late third.
