Kids’ hi-tech Xmas wants

POPULAR Computer games CHILDREN would prefer tech gadgets for Christmas rather than traditional gifts, a survey shows.

Just one in 10 has asked for a bike or skateboard.

Instead, consoles, video games, smartphones and Lego and are now the top items on wish-lists.

Peter Lazarus, of sport retailer Decathlon, which did the poll, said: “Buying kids an outdoor gift, like a bike, can be a great way of getting them out in the fresh air over Christmas...”
