Torreira has class to Go all the way

IF Arsenal don’t lose between now and the end of January, I will gladly accept that, once again, they are the real deal.

Unai Emery’s men were fantastic against Tottenham on Sunday, and in Lucas Torreira (below), they have one of the players of the season already.

If the Uruguayan keeps his form going for the rest of the campaign, he is going to be elevated to the same bracket as N’Golo Kante, and we may even see him winning the same individual pots Kante has picked up in recent seasons.

Having said all that, if you asked me today to hang my hat on Arsenal or Spurs nailing a top-four position come the end of the season, I’d still choose Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

They’re a good, solid team and they’re not going to get too down just because they’ve lost the north London derby.

If anything, it will probably galvanise them.
