Pub has play area for dogs

A PUB has opened a playroom to keep dogs busy as their humans have a pint.

It has toys, tunnels, a ball pit and a sleeping area.

Marcia Mennie, 39, of Central Bar in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, said: “It’s nice for them to hang with their doggy friends rather than sit with their owners.”
