Decorations on theme fir Queen
CHRISTMAS has arrived at Buckingham Palace as festive trees adorn the Marble Hall – in shots shown off on the Royal Family Instagram account.
And the Windsor-grown firs are hung with some quirky on-theme decorations.
Small crowns encrusted with jewels and embroidered carriages dangle from the boughs, while the grand staircase is decked with baubled garlands.
A caption read: “Displaying Christmas trees was introduced to Britain in the late 18th century by Queen Charlotte, consort of King George III.”
