Army chief blames hiring deal
Old house was demolished THE head of the armed forces has blasted a disastrous deal to privatise recruitment for a manpower crisis in the Army.
Chief of the Defence Staff General Sir Nick Carter hit out at ATTACK Sir Nick Carter the 2012 deal with Capita, for a shortfall of about 5,500 soldiers. Sir Nick told MPs on the Defence Committee: “Capita’s bid for this contract was overly-ambitious.” He also blamed the MoD for making the contract too complicated.
