One’s dreaming of a white Christmas
..but mind the heir with that snowball
CHRISTMAS comes early for Prince William and Kate as fake snow falls during a fun day at Kensington Palace.
The royals hosted the event for families of personnel from RAF Coningsby and RAF Marham who will be serving in Cyprus over the festive period.
Kensington Palace became a winter wonderland, with children playing in the fake snow.
A Christmas grotto was also created, where youngsters could craft crackers and baubles, decorate stockings or make truffles.
Kate, 36, in an Emilia Wickstead skirt and top by Brora, paid tribute to their 200 guests.
William, 36, served in the Falklands in 2012, and Kate said: “I know how hard it feels when a loved one leaves home to do the job they trained for.
“But I can’t imagine how it feels when your loved ones are on active service over Christmas.”
William and Kate will today visit RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.
