Holly gets trial bug... as ant gets the brush-off

-

HOLLY Willoughby has done a U-turn and will take part in a bushtucker trial at the climax of the current I’m A Celebrity series.

The presenter, who has stood in for Ant McPartlin this year, had insisted before flying to Australia she would not do any trials.

She claims she’s scared of bugs, snakes and spiders – although she was brave enough to brush an ant off co-host Declan Donnelly’s shirt on last night’s show.

Holly has agreed to take on the Cyclone where she will carry a giant foam star up a hill while being hit by high pressure water cannon, gale force winds and giant balls.

All four contestants have to be in the right positions on the hill at the same time to complete the trial.

A show source said: “Hosts don’t normally do trials. Holly was adament she would not do one either, but the ITV2 Extra Camp team managed to persuade her.”

Holly will join Scarlett Moffatt, Joe Swash and Joel Dommett on ITV2’s Extra Camp on Saturday to take part in the Cyclone trial, with the results screened later the same night at 10pm.
