Eight years for hot tub knife killer

JAILED Demi Harris A WOMAN who stabbed her lover to death after he jumped naked into a hot tub with two barmaids has been jailed for eight years.

Demi Harris, 21, flew into a rage at Christopher Pearson’s antics at a party in his garden, Nottingham crown court heard.

The nursery nurse poured solvent in the jacuzzi but Mr Pearson, 39, then pulled her into the water fully clothed.

She went back inside his home at Hucknall, Notts, rowed with Harris and knifed him in the stomach.

Witnesses saw his intestines “hanging out.” Harris was cleared of murder but convicted of manslaughter.

Mr Pearson’s family said after the sentencing: “We are still struggling to come to terms with the tragic events in February.”
