Topless photo sent to mums by councillor

SUSPENDED Mr Maroof MUMS discussing knife crime were accidently sent a photo of a topless woman by a councillor.

Mohammad Maroof forwarded it to fellow councillors and a Mums United WhatsApp group.

Founder Sahira Irshad was presenting a petition to Sheffield City Council.

The embarrassed dad-of-two, aged 50, said: “Somebody sent me this photo... and it went into my phone’s file.

“I tried to send the group a video and, by mistake, I pressed the wrong photo.”

He said he asked for the image to be instantly deleted. A member of the group called the incident “absolutely disgraceful”.

Mr Maroof has been suspended by the council’s Labour group while a probe is carried out. VISION Entrepreneur Boizot
