Camilla gives bangers and mash to kids

SNACK Camilla & reindeer THE Duchess of Cornwall served sausages and mash to sick children at a Christmas lunch yesterday.

Camilla told them the annual event signals “the start of Christmas” for her.

She hosted the event at Clarence House, London, for charities she supports – the Helen and Douglas House children’s hospice and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

The children took turns to feed two reindeer in the garden after the feast.

Jasper Grannum, 12, who suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, was thrilled to get a second helping from Camilla.

The Chelsea fan, of Chalfont St Giles, Bucks, said: “She’s a beautiful lady.”

When asked if Camilla was his new best friend, Jasper replied: “Probably.”
