Pompey get skates on to bag Yates
PORTSMOUTH are pushing to snap up Nottingham Forest midfielder Ryan Yates – as soon as the transfer window opens.
Forest tied Yates, 21, to a new threeyear deal in the summer. But he has made just one EFL Cup appearance this term.
League One leaders Portsmouth want Yates (above), who is valued at around £500,000, and are prepared to pay cash to snap him up permanently next month.
