Wagner: Faith will net result
DAVID WAGNER is keeping his faith in misfiring strikers Steve Mounie and Laurent Depoitre and will not add to his options up front next month.
The pair have between them made 27 appearances for Huddersfield this season – and failed to score.
But boss Wagner still backs them, with Depoitre leading the line at Arsenal tomorrow because Mounie is suspended. “We’re aware of this issue and will work to solve it,” said Wagner.
“They’ve had chances and have created some themselves. Now it’s about putting the ball in the net.”
