Yacht girl is safe on ship
A BRITISH yachtswoman stranded in the Pacific has been rescued.
Susie Goodall, 29, was knocked unconscious and her vessel wrecked in 75mph winds. She was fourth in the round-theworld Golden Globe Race.
Rescuers called on cargo ship Tian Fu to steam 480 miles to her rescue.
Crew used a crane to lift her off the drifting boat in stormy conditions.
Goodall, from Falmouth in Cornwall, tweeted: “ON THE SHIP!!!”
