Model caught drink driving ‘struggling’ with end of career

-

A FORMER glamour model found guilty of drink driving was said to be “struggling” because her career as one of Britain’s top pin-ups was “drying up”.

Holly Peers, 32, failed a breath test after she was stopped for driving her Fiat 500 onto a motorway lane closed for roadworks at around 1am on November 10.

Peers said she had two bottles of beer before going home on the M60. She had 46 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.

Peers, of Swinton, Manchester, admitted driving with excess alcohol at Manchester magistrates court yesterday.

Requesting leniency, her lawyer said: “She’s a model, but work is drying up and she is struggling.” She got a 12-month driving ban and was fined £400. Peers regularly appeared in lads’ mags like Nuts and Loaded, and is a soccerette on Sky TV’s Soccer AM.
