I WANT TO SEE HOWE COOK UP A STORM

STEVE COOK would love Eddie Howe to give Jurgen Klopp a taste of his own medicine by racing on to the pitch in celebration of a Bournemouth goal against Liverpool today.

Anfield boss Klopp was fined by £8,000 by the FA for his manic reaction (below) to the Reds’ stoppage-time winner against Everton in last weekend’s Merseyside derby.

Unlike Klopp, Bournemouth manager Howe is renowned for being mild-mannered on the touchline but Cook (top) said: “I hope we don’t see Klopp running on to our pitch because that means they have scored a goal.

“It would be very unlike our gaffer if he sprinted on to the pitch but, I won’t lie, I would love to see it. “Klopp has been punished for it but

I think it’s good for the game to show passion. You don’t want to take the celebrations out of football – that’s what the game is all about. He’s passionate and I quite enjoyed his celebrations and I like seeing that in football.

“It’s a derby day, a lastminute winner and I’ve never seen a goal like it.

Liverpool face Napoli in a Champions League decider in midweek, but Howe said: “They are not going to take us lightly.

“We anticipate a full-strength Liverpool team.”
