OLD HABITS DIVE HARD

- BY MIKE WHALLEY

SEAN DYCHE insists he will never tell his Burnley players to start diving – even though they have gone 58 matches without a Premier League penalty. Sam Vokes scored Burnley’s last in a 3-1 defeat at Everton on April 15, 2017

But Dyche, who accused Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge of cheating to win a free-kick in midweek, said: “I’m not going to give you a view (on cheating) and then tell the players to do things in a different way. “Bournemouth have had six penalties this season. Brighton have had five, Palace have had four. That’s in 15 league games. We haven’t had one in 58. How does that make sense?”
