SWANS AREN’T GOING TO POT

-

Championship: 3pm GRAHAM POTTER insists there has been no shouting or swearing at Swansea after a nightmare week.

The Welsh side are looking to end a run of three straight defeats at Brentford this afternoon.

But the Swans boss refused to read his players the riot act, instead backing them to bounce back today. “We are disappointed. It has been a tough week,” said Potter (left). “But we have got to be big enough as individuals and as a team to absorb it. That’s the most important thing to me.

“We can shout and scream all we want about losing a football match, but we have to deal with that in the right way, stick together and carry on trying to be positive.

“Things can change very quickly, we had three wins out of four before this run and we have to respond because that is what football and life is about.”

Swansea have lost to high-flying Norwich, West Brom and Derby over the last two weeks.

But Potter is likely to have Wilfried Bony back after he sat out the Rams clash.

He added: “I definitely believe we’ve got the characters to deal with this run. This is an honest group, they are trying their best and they want to improve.”
