‘Natural and normal’ Emily flooded with roles
RUNNER-UP Emily Atack has been flooded with acting offers as viewers have warmed to the star’s honesty about trying to find love and gaining more self-confidence.
Since appearing as Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the Inbetweeners eight years ago, regular work has dried up. But sources close to Emily, 28, say her agency has been inundated with requests as she is seen as “natural and normal” as opposed to many reality stars obsessed with appearance.
Last night, in a bid to win a boozy meal, Emily wore a glass helmet full of critters including spiders, 1kg of giant mealworms and 2,000 crickets. She joked: “This is hell. The things I do for a pint!”
But Emily has enjoyed the challenges. She said: “I have learned that I am terrified of everything but I can get the job done.
“The first things I’ll do when I leave are shower, eat and ring all my friends.”
