Teen held over fatal stabbing

DETECTIVES have arrested a teenager after an unnamed 18-year-old was stabbed to death in London.

The killing takes the toll of teens murdered in the capital this year to 23.

The victim was found at a flat in Greenwich, South East London, on Saturday night following reports of a stabbing. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Police were called following reports of a man stabbed and unresponsive.”

He added: “One male aged, 17, has been arrested in connection with this incident.

“He remains at a South London police station for questioning.”
