HUGHES IS OUT AGAIN AT WASPS
WASPS fear they could be without Nathan Hughes for another extended period after he was forced off in Saturday’s 24-16 Heineken Cup defeat to TOULOUSE.
The England No.8 (above) took a big hit from Joe Tekori as Wasps’ interest in Europe ended at the Ricoh Arena.
It was only his second game back after a six-week ban – and he was on crutches after the game.
“It’s a hip and pelvis injury. He’s in a lot of pain, but the next 48 hours will tell us more,” said Wasps’ director of rugby Dai Young.
BATH are also still without a win at the halfway point of Pool 1 after Todd Blackadder’s side went down 17-10 at the Rec to champions LEINSTER.
EXETER exited the competition as well after a 27-19 home defeat by GLOUCESTER in Pool 2.
