FROM FRONT PAGE of the Premier League. But Klopp said they will have to raise their game even further if they want to progress to the knockout stages.

Ancelotti insisted his Napoli will go on the attack at Anfield as he seeks another famous win over Liverpool. The former Milan boss won and lost Champions League finals against the Reds – and took a giant step to winning the Premier League with Chelsea with a victory on Merseyside in May 2010.

Ancelotti, who took over from Maurizio Sarri in the summer, said: “When I think of previous matches with Liverpool, I like the one from 2007 in Athens. But Liverpool also bring memories of two lost Champions League finals – the first in Rome in 1984, the second in Istanbul in 2005 on penalties.”
