Van man John is set to hit road

-

JOHN Barrowman has told how he wants to go on a campervan trip after quitting the jungle – and with these sort of survival skills, that should be a piece of cake.

The 51-year-old ate two beach-worms, a dead water spider, a goat eye, a fermented duck egg and a bull’s penis in last night’s bush tucker trial and spoke of a road adventure with husband Scott.

John, who finished third, said: “We’ve already talked about buying a camper van.

“I have learned in here how to use your fear and make your fear your strength, and live every day in the moment.

“And the first things I will do now are hug Scott, kiss Scott, have something to eat, take my mum and dad shopping.”

Scott had been encouraging the screen star’s army of supporters in the US and beyond to vote for the actor.

He has said: “They could tip it in his favour if they can vote. They just need to take a certain approach to the internet shall we say?”

John bravely continued in the jungle after he sprained his ankle slipping on a path and even continued with trials. He spent a night in a hospital but X-rays showed no break.

A week ago he returned to the camp less than 24 hours after the injury threatened to ruin his chances of winning.
