The Sunday Times claims Tuesday’s vote could be pulled to avoid defeat. A No10 spokesman says: “Vote is going ahead.”

Brexit Secretary Stephen Barclay tells BBC1’s The Andrew Marr Show: “The vote is on Tuesday, we are focused on that.” MONDAY

Environmen­t Secretary Michael Gove is asked on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “Is the vote definitely, 100% going to happen?” He replies: “Yes.”

PM’s spokeswoma­n tells journalist­s at regular briefing PM is still confident she can win tomorrow’s vote. 11.30am Theresa May tells Cabinet she is postponing the vote in a conference call. News begins to leak.

PM tells the Commons that Tuesday’s vote is being “deferred”.
